Hello, hello! Yeahh, it’s been a while… 😊
Today I come with a complete overview on the two Insfluenster’s VoxBox I’ve received with Max Factor Arabia products.
First things first…
“What is Influenster?
Influenster is a platform to discover new products and to read honest reviews about the products you’d like to try. In fact, there are millions of reviews on Influenster written by people like you, me… Influenster is also a community. The members ask and answer each other’s product questions, create lists of their go-to products, post photos on social media of the items they’re testing, and read and share articles about new products that they discover on Influenster.com and the Influenster app.
What is a VoxBox?
A VoxBox is a box of free, often full-size products that Influenster delivers directly to its members for testing purposes. These products come directly from some of the biggest brands in the country.” – Influenster’s Website
I was so excited when Influenster was launched here in the Middle East, I couldn’t wait to be part of the community!
In those boxes came a good range of products, all full size.
1. Max Factor Pro Color Correcting Sticks
I’ve received three shades: Green (corrects redness)*, Pink (corrects dark spots)*, Yellow (corrects under eye circles)*.
I don’t usually use Green Color Corrector, redness isn’t something I notice on me. I tried this one on my cheeks where I have a little bit of it.
It has a very thick consistence and doesn’t blend easily, if something, it just made the area I’ve applied it to look very cakey.
The best way to blend it onto the skin is using your finger tip.
Pink: Corrects Dark Spots ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I usually use Pink Color Correctors on my under eye area, because my dark circles are more towards brown.
I’m using this one very often, especially on days I’m not going for a full glam type a look, because when I go for it… I always use my favorite one, the Becca – Under Eye Brightening Corrector, on the other hand, the Max Factor one costs a fraction of the price and does the job.
It brights up the area, it’s very easy to blend and doesn’t crease much.
I also blended it using my ring finger tip, as concealer I’ve used Maybelline Fit Me! – 10 Light and to set Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder – 10 Fair Light:
Before I used to use yellow color correctors, but it doesn’t really work for me.
This particular one, the problem isn’t only the shade, as the green, it has a very thick consistence and doesn’t blend easily, if something, it just made my under eye area look very cakey and it creases badly.
I’ve blended it using my ring finger tip, as concealer I’ve used Maybelline Fit Me! – 10 Light and to set Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder – 10 Fair Light:
It claims to be a 3 in 1 Foundation (Primer, Concealer and Foundation) and it’s SPF 20, packaging is made of glass and has a pump.
I used this foundation for one week in a row and I really enjoyed it. It’s a medium to full coverage, has a matte finish and it is long lasting, stays put all day long. I don’t use it as concealer and I do prefer to use a primer underneath.
Remember to remove this foundation well, because it literally sticks onto your skin, and every time I was a little bit lazy to do my makeup removal routine, I had breakouts issues, besides it I think it is a good and “affordable” option.
For this picture, I used this foundation as a primer, foundation and concealer, I applied 3 pumps with a round kabuki brush and beauty sponge (for a better finish) and set with powder (Maybelline Fit Me! Loose Finishing Powder – 10 Fair Light), I like the way it looks, I’d definitely use as 3 in 1 again if I’d have to do my makeup very very quickly.
3. Pan Sticks:
Well, it’s more like a “Warm Bronze”, I wouldn’t use it as a Cream Contour, it is quite warm for it. I do like to use it as a Cream Bronzer, it’s very creamy, blends very easily (I like to blend it with a duo fiber brush) and looks very natural on the skin, but I don’t usually do this step on my makeup routine.
The only way I could use this product was to conceal my brows and to prime my eyelids. This product has a very thick consistence and because of it creases a lot.
4. Puff Blush – Lavish Mauve 20 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this blush, such a beautiful color, blends out beautiful onto the skin, I even got one more in a different shade, Seductive Pink 15.
5. Brow Shaper: Deep Brown 30 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love, love, love this product! ♥️
It’s the best brow pencil I’ve tried so far, it’s very precise, not to waxy, has a great pigmentation, the shade is PERFECT for me, I can’t recommend it enough!! 😍 I even bought a backup. 😊💸
I use by itself for a natural look or with a brow powder on top if I’m going for something more dramatic.
6. Brow Contouring Kit ⭐️
When I received it two shades was already broken, the ones left… one is too warm and the other one too light. I’ve tried it for the first time in a video with the Brow Shaper underneath, it wasn’t bad, but by itself doesn’t work for me, I have too many sparse areas on my brows, there isn’t enough color payoff for my need. You can get the job done by mixing the two shades, but it takes quite a while to achieve an “ok” result.
7. Masterpiece Eyeshadow Palettes: Golden Nudes 02 and Rose Nudes 03 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Those eyeshadow palettes are beautiful, love the color range, quite similar to the Urban Decay Naked 2 and Naked 3.
Great pigmentation, the eyeshadows blend seamless, I’m wearing it non-stop, I just noticed a considerable kickback, so if you are going to use the darker shades you better do the eyes first.
What to say about this eyeliner? It’s very easy to do a wing liner with it because of the precise felt tip, but the product itself I didn’t really like. It isn’t as black as I’d like, take quite a while to dry, it doesn’t dry matte and I REALLY don’t like the way it sticks onto my lashes. So, for me, is a quite mixed feelings… Who doesn’t like a eyeliner that makes your life easier when you wanna rock a wing? At the same time there are all those other issues, as I said… Mixed feelings!
When I opened the package I was like: “This wand is HUGE, I don’t like it!”
It’s difficult to do a great application, because of the shape/size of it, maybe if your lashes are naturally long, it will work for you, for me it was quite a struggle. I didn’t notice it smudging or flaking, I was able to remove it easily with a oil based makeup removal, it gives length and volume, but even using a curvex my lashes was still very straight. So, as you can guess, not my favorite mascara.
Hope you like it. I had so much fun trying on the products, creating a makeup look for Instagram, recording the video for my Youtube channel and writing this post.
