Yeah, I did it!

I was determined to let my hair grow and leave it all natural, but it takes so much time to style it every time I wash, it’s no joke. Believe it or not, I have to even schedule it, which I do… twice a week, and it can take up to four hours to get it done, between washing, drying and styling it, so it’s safe to say I’m still not ready to go through the full transition just yet.

So enough blah, blah, blah… let’s talk about the treatment:

Regarding the application, all the process took a bit more than four hours (washing, applying the product, plus the 45 minutes pause, it was quite itchy for couple minutes, rinsing it partially,  blowdrying and straightening, with a flat iron) and I had to go back to the salon after two days to remove the product and apply the mask, which was a very quick process, but if you consider that I used to take almost the same amount of time every time I washed my hair at home and now I can get it done in less than two hours, between washing, blowdrying and styling, it’s not bad, so it’s safe to say it reduces styling time.

The price for the treatment depends on your hair length, at Lindo Beauty Salon it starts from AED 1500.

HOW LONG DID IT LAST?

Well, after exactly four months I had to do the treatment again, only the roots because of hair growth.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, even though I do think is quite an expensive treatment, but it does work the way it says it will and it doesn’t feel like my hair texture has changed that much, which I very much appreciate.
